We welcome cooperation with the scholars of in China, also subjects as they relate to the I Ching - inner alchemy, feng shui 5 element theory, traditional Chinese medicine and astrology, and also Buddhism (especially Zen or Chan) and Taoism, clairvoyance, intuition, and spirituality. I stress that the roots of the I Ching are Taoist(for want of a better word) and all should be familiar with the basic concepts of Taoism particularly as written by Lao Tzu, Chang Tzu, and Ni-Hua Ching. Our focus philosophically is Sung Dynasty I Ching ideas and theories.
This List is dedicated to the idea that the Yi is primarily an oracle and was invented to make Tao accessible to humankind. Members are encouraged to upload a photo of themselves to our member album in the photos section of this List. We have extensive files, both text and pdf for your edification. Please add any file on the Yi you have found valuable or add links as well.
As for conduct on the List, remember the words of the Chinese patriarch Huineng: "In all conditions we should be humble and polite."
